Understanding your 14-day free trial
How your BookFlow AI free trial works — what is included, what happens when it ends, and how to upgrade.
What you get in the free trial
Every new BookFlow AI account starts with a **14-day free trial** that includes:
- Up to **60 AI voice minutes** to test live calls with real leads.
- Full access to every feature in the product — dashboard, analytics, recordings, integrations, outbound webhooks.
- Unlimited leads in your database (no cap on list size).
- Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook integration.
- A connected AI agent fully configured in Build Your Agent.
What you do not need to give us
- **No credit card.** You will not be asked for a payment method until you choose to upgrade.
- **No contract.** You can ignore the trial and the account will simply expire after 14 days.
- **No phone call with sales.** The trial is self-serve from start to finish.
How the 14 days are counted
The trial clock starts the moment you finish **Quick Start** (the 4-field welcome screen). It does **not** start on the signup or on completion of Build Your Agent. This means you can take your time building a careful AI agent without burning trial days.
The 60-minute counter is a **separate** limit. Whichever runs out first — 14 days or 60 minutes — ends the trial.
What "60 AI minutes" actually means
One minute of AI voice = one minute of phone audio while the agent is actively speaking or listening. Silence, ringing, and voicemail do not count.
For context:
- A typical qualification call that ends in a booked meeting runs **2–4 minutes**.
- That means 60 trial minutes ≈ **15–30 booked meetings** worth of live practice.
- Demo calls you make to your own phone to test the agent count the same as real leads.
What happens when the trial ends
When either the time or the minutes run out, BookFlow AI does NOT delete your data. Here is what actually happens:
- Your dashboard stays fully accessible (read-only for leads, calls, recordings).
- Your AI agent configuration stays saved.
- New outbound calls are **blocked** until you upgrade to a paid plan.
- A red banner appears at the top of the dashboard with an **Upgrade** button.
- You get a courtesy email 3 days before the trial ends and one on the day it ends.
When you upgrade (Dashboard → Billing), everything resumes immediately. No re-setup, no data migration.
Extending the trial
If you are mid-evaluation and need more time, open the support widget and ask. We will typically extend by 7 days or add 30 minutes, whichever you need. We do this for anyone running a legitimate evaluation.
Upgrading before the trial ends
You can upgrade at any point during the trial from **Dashboard → Billing**. If you upgrade early:
- Your paid plan starts immediately.
- Your trial minutes are forfeited (but your included-plan minutes take over).
- You get the full plan benefits on day one.
FAQ
**Do trial minutes roll over to a paid plan?** No. Trial minutes are use-it-or-lose-it.
**Do paid-plan minutes roll over month to month?** Yes. Unused paid minutes carry forward for one month.
**Can I cancel a paid plan and go back to a trial?** No — a cancellation brings the account back to trial-expired state. Your data is preserved but calls are blocked.
**Do I get charged automatically when the trial ends?** No. Because you never entered a credit card, the trial simply ends. You have to actively upgrade.
